A group of specialised consultants, all from the hotel industry, able to support and offer outsourced services to well- established hotels wanting to have a fresh start, but also to emerging start-ups, which need positioning in the market. Hotel Players is all this. We offer three hundred and sixty degree services for the hospitality sector, always tailored to our customer needs and to the character of the hotel.
It was 2011 and the hotel industry was at the height of its revolution. New forms of travelling, the multiplying possibilities regarding accommodation and the different needs of an increasingly diverse clientele were radically changing the rules of the hotel industry.
It is within this exact context that Matteo Santarelli, who at only thirty had been already managing seven hotels in the Milan area, felt that it was time to give life to a new and different company, able to meet the real needs of the hotel market in its evolution and fluidity, by creating new formulas and business approaches that did not exist until a few years before. From the beginning, Matteo wanted to work with trustworthy consultants whose key expertise was essential for creating a winning team: Emanuela Cianchetti, Head of Sales and Marketing, and Simone Salvatori, Director of Revenue and Distribution, having both worked for the hotel industry for many years.
That is how Hotel Players was born.
A few years later, the team expanded when Emanuela Cianchetti and Omar Cominelli joined the Sales and Marketing department. Hotel Players has been working in Italy with dozens of hotels for short, medium and long term periods. Some are independent hotels, others belong to renowned international chains.
Founder of Hotel Players, authentic team leader who managed to break with the past and the traditional approaches related to the hospitality industry. Precursor of the economic performance of the hotel industry market, he knows about all types of hotel: from boutique hotels to international hotel chains and full service hotels. He lectures at the Master’s in Hospitality Management Level Up. He deals with Co-Management and Business Development and oversees all the Hotel Players projects.
He studied and grew professionally in two of the Italian capitals of tourism, Rimini and Milan, and one of the hubs of world tourism, London. At Hotel Players, he coordinates all activities related to the field of revenue management and online distribution, supporting hoteliers in the management and updating of the Internet Distribution System and CRS and transferring with punctuality and precision his knowledge regarding channel manager, booking engine, GDS and TPI.
Emanuela joined the Hotel Players team in February 2013, after various experiences in the hotel sector between Rome and Milan. Thanks to her versatility, dedication and resourcefulness, she is immediately able to independently conduct various sales projects for our hotels in the capital. The purpose of her work is to be able to give a life experience in line with the expectations of each customer.
Gabriella, young and lively, matures her experience in the world of hotels at important accommodation facilities in Milan, and then continues in London where, thanks to her ambition and resourcefulness, she extends her professional experience also to the world of events. Back in Italy, she faces new job challenges, always in the commercial field, where she has acquired strong sales skills and management skills. Various experiences in prestigious 4 and 5 star structures, especially in Rome, where he held positions of commercial responsibility as well as participating for several years in all the most important international trade fairs in the sector. An eclectic, lively figure, always looking for new challenges, in 2022 he accepted the task of supporting Hotel Players in the search for new business in all market segments. An external support that will be useful to Hotel Players and all its customers.
